This website is operated by a single, independent web designer based in the United States. The purpose of this site is to share information about services and allow potential clients to get in touch. Privacy is respected, and data collection is intentionally minimal.

Information collected

• Name and email address
• Project details voluntarily submitted through the contact form

The contact form is powered by Formspree. Messages submitted through the form are delivered directly so responses can be provided.

Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Credit card information is never stored or accessed directly. Stripe handles payment data in accordance with its own privacy and security policies.

What this site does not do

• No selling, renting, or sharing of personal information
• No advertising trackers or marketing pixels
• No mailing lists or automated marketing emails
• No advertisements

Cookies & hosting

This site does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. Basic cookies or server logs may be used by the hosting provider (Netlify) for performance, security, or standard site operation.

Data retention

Information is retained only as long as necessary to communicate or complete a project. Requests for deletion can be made at any time.

Terms of service

By contacting Rootline Web Co. or purchasing services through this website, you agree to the following terms.

Services offered

Services include one-time website design projects, such as template-based builds and limited custom website builds.

Hosting, subscriptions, ongoing SEO services, and ongoing support are not included unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

Payments

• Template builds are paid in full before work begins
• Custom builds require a deposit, with the remaining balance due before final handoff

All payments are one-time and non-recurring.

Refunds

Refunds are available only before work has begun. Once planning, design, or development starts, payments are non-refundable due to the time and labor involved in creative services.

Project timelines

Timelines are estimates provided in good faith and may vary based on responsiveness, scope adjustments, or technical considerations.

Ownership & handoff

Once full payment is received, ownership of the final website files is transferred. Domains are purchased separately and registered in the client’s name. Sites may be set up on a free Netlify account under client control.

Support & changes

Ongoing maintenance or updates are not included after final delivery unless agreed to separately. Additional work requires a new agreement.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to all content they provide, including text, images, and branding.

Limitation of liability

Services are provided “as is.” Rootline Web Co. is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or issues caused by third-party services outside direct control.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Rootline Web Co. operates.
